Easter Peasant Dress

 It's been a while since my last post.  I was recently asked to make a few peasant dresses and forgot how fun these are to make.  I thought this would make the perfect Easter dress for a little one! 

 

 I love the little sash that ties around the dress.  It's fun to embellish with fabric flowers.

 These dresses are great because they don't require any zippers or buttons!

The pattern for this dress is no longer available, but I got it from a seller on Etsy and there are many other great Peasant dress patterns on there!

Of course, I had to make a matching hair accessory!

A Baby Headband and Fabric Head Wrap

My Sister-in-Law had a baby a few weeks ago.  They named her Mila, (what an adorable name don't you think?) and so I just had to make her a few headbands.  Love how the flower turned out on this one.  The headband is made out of a knit fabric and the flower was some fabric I found in the Walmart bins.  It looks like a soft stretchy tulle. 

 Also made a few of these fabric head wraps this week.  These are so fun to make.  I love putting different fabrics together and seeing how they will turn out.  These look great when you just want to wrap something around the head and go!  Too bad Hallie won't wear anything I make cuz she looks so darn cute in them.  You can mix up all different types on fabric flowers and leaves on these.  So fun to embellish!

New Headbands

So I made up a few headbands for my friend the other day in pink/brown colors.  Here is what is left over after she chose what she wanted.  Get your own ideas or look for the ones I made in our Etsy shop! Also check out other headbands on my "headband pages" on the side.
